Based in New Zealand and located in the alpine resort of Queenstown, AerialFilm offers a range of services including aerial filming, aerial cinematography, stabilised helicopter mounts and aerial production services for the screen production industry.
Our flagship mount is the gyro stabilsed Stab C Compact manufactured by Nettmann Systems International. The Stab C Compact is extremely versatile and will accommodate most Arri and Panavision 35mm and 16mm Film cameras as well as HD camera systems including Red, Genesis, Sony F23 and F900. The Stab C Compact is ideal for helicopter, crane, tracking vehicle, quad bike, snow mobile, cablecam and marine applications requiring a fully stablised remote head.
The Stab C Compact utilises the same technology as the acclaimed Super G; selected for many theatrical feature projects including 10,000BC, WaterHorse, Da Vinci Code, Dark Knight, Bourne Ultimatum, Golden Compass and others.
AerialFilm are the exclusive Stab C Compact agents servicing Aerial Filming New Zealand, Queenstown, Australia and the South Pacific. We also own a STC certified Airfilm manufactured helicopter bracket which is the only helicopter bracket based in Australasia used for mounting the Stab C Compact, Super G, Eclipse, Wescam and Spacecam gyro stablised camera systems to a Eurocopter Squirrel helicopter.
